Megacamp at Manilakshmi Clinic - Dec 14, 2025

The VMDJ Foundation for Public Health successfully organized a Mega Free Health Camp on 14 December 2025 in collaboration with Mani Lakshmi Clinic, focusing on preventive and promotive healthcare.
The camp was spearheaded by Dr. Sriram, Consultant, Manilakshmi Clinic, ensuring quality clinical services and medical care.
The initiative supported by VMDJ Foundation for Public health with members, Dr. V. M. Anantha Eashwar , and Dr. Swetha N.B, Executive Members of the NGO, playing a key role in planning, coordination, and community engagement. as part of the organization’s commitment to community health outreach.
The Highlights of the camp were:

The camp aimed at early detection of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and thyroid disorders.

Free services included blood pressure measurement, weight assessment, and blood sugar testing (FBS/RBS).

Selected beneficiaries underwent advanced investigations including thyroid profile (T3, T4, TSH), lipid profile, HbA1c, and uric acid estimation.

Participants received individualized mental health counselling based on their screening results.

Lifestyle modification advice covering diet, physical activity, and stress management was emphasized.

Health education sessions highlighted the importance of regular screening and treatment adherence.

Basic life-saving awareness, including CPR orientation, was also provided.

Special focus was given to accessible healthcare for underserved sections of the community.

Medical supervision ensured safety, confidentiality, and quality of care.

Beneficiaries requiring further care were advised appropriate follow-up and referral.

This Mega Health Camp reflects the Foundation’s vision of strengthening preventive healthcare through community action.
